Anti-gay attitudes drove him to addiction. He says that’s why we need LGBTQ+ education

From L.A. Times Studios: Taron Sargsyan spent most of his childhood hiding his homosexuality from classmates and family, which led to a life-threatening drug addiction. He fears ongoing protests against LGBTQ+ rights and education in schools will force some kids to experience a similar fate.
